Lagos is Nigeria's commercial hub. Lekki (including Lekki Phase 1, Admiralty Way, Chevron) has seen strong development and demand. Ikoyi and Victoria Island (VI) are prime residential and commercial zones with high prices. Ikeja is the state capital and a major business district. Surulere, Yaba, and Gbagada offer more mid-range options. Newer corridors like Epe and Ibeju-Lekki are growing. Always verify security, traffic, and infrastructure (power, water) for the specific estate or street.

Abuja: Districts and Suburbs
Abuja is the federal capital with a more planned layout. Maitama, Asokoro, and Garki are high-end. Wuse, Gwarinpa, and Kubwa offer a range of housing. Lugbe, Karu, and satellite towns are more affordable but check commute and infrastructure. Land and property in approved layouts with good title are preferred.
Other Cities and What to Check
In Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, and other cities, focus on secure estates, access to work or schools, and verified title. Check flood zones, security history, and future road or development plans that could affect value or livability.
