These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.

9. User Responsibility and Content

Users are responsible for all content they post on HomeQuest. By posting content, you grant HomeQuest a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content.

10. Property Listings and Accuracy

Property sellers and agents warrant that all information provided about properties is accurate and complete. HomeQuest does not verify property information independently. Buyers are advised to conduct due diligence and hire independent lawyers to verify property details and legal status before purchase. HomeQuest is not liable for inaccuracies in listings or disputes arising from property transactions.

11. Financial Transactions and Payments

HomeQuest acts as a platform to facilitate property transactions. Payment processes are handled through authorized third-party payment providers. We are not responsible for payment delays, failures, or disputes between buyers and sellers.

For transactions involving properties and large sums, we strongly advise using licensed lawyers and escrow services to ensure fund safety and document verification.

12. Limitation of Liability

HomeQuest shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you to HomeQuest in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not apply to you.

13. Dispute Resolution

For disputes arising from use of HomeQuest:

  1. You agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation with the other party
  2. If unresolved, contact HomeQuest's dispute resolution team
  3. Unresolved disputes involving Nigerian parties shall be governed by Nigerian law and resolved through arbitration or courts in Nigeria
  4. Diaspora users in other jurisdictions may pursue remedies available in their jurisdiction

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeQuest, its owners, managers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the website, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights. This includes legal fees and court costs.

15. Termination of Access

HomeQuest reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account for violating these Terms, posting false information, engaging in fraudulent activity, or any conduct HomeQuest deems inappropriate. Termination will be effective immediately upon notice. Upon termination, your right to use HomeQuest ceases immediately.

16. Intellectual Property Rights

The content on HomeQuest, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of HomeQuest or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without HomeQuest's prior written permission.

17. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria and your jurisdiction when using HomeQuest. This includes laws regarding property transactions, tax reporting, currency regulations, and international commerce. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with local laws.

18. Modifications to Terms

19. Severability
